Registration for the 2026 season
Registration for the 2026 season will open in two stages.
- The first will be for previous swim team families in good standing with their volunteer credits from last season beginning on March 15, 2026.
- The second is for new families on a first come first served basis beginning March 19, 2026.
Previous Swim Team families in good standing with their volunteer credits:
Registration opens March 15 at 8:00am. It will close on March 18th at midnight.
A private registration link will be shared with those families 24 hours before registration opens.
New Family Registration or those who may have fallen behind on volunteer credits
Registration opens as a link on our website Friday, March 19th at 8:00am and close on March 23rd at midnight. No registration link is required.
If any age group fills to capacity, then a wait list registration link will open to allow families to register for any spaces that may open once the season begins. The wait list registrations are time stamped and will be filled in order of first come first served.
The first week of swim team practice is the free week trial for all members. The free week trial is: May 12 through May 16. If you are not able to attend any practices during this time, you may not be eligible for a refund to registration fees.
Check 'Upcoming Events' (on the right) to stay up to date on our next scheduled event including, practices, meets, food trucks, parties, etc.
Meet & Volunteer sign-ups opened on May 23, 2025 at 12:00PM for the mock meet & first 3 meets of the season. This is where you declare your swimmer's attendance or non-attendance to a meet. For the home or away meets that you plan to attend, you can also sign up for your volunteer job(s).
Parent Meeting and JR Coach Interest Meetings
Parent & Jr. Coach Interest meetings were held during the first week of practices at the Evans Road Clubhouse:
Jr Coaching Interest Meeting was held on May 13 at 5:15pm
Any registered swimmer who is 13 or older may act as a JR coach on the team during the season. The swimmer must have attended the interest meeting or, if it was not possible to attend, emailed our head coach, Katia, before this date.
Parent meeting for 6 and under families: Tuesday, May 13 at 5:45pm
Parent meeting for 11 & 12 year old families: Thursday, May 15 at 6:15pm
Parent meeting for 7/8 and 9/10 year old families: Tuesday, May 20 at 7:20pm
You may attend any session that suits your families schedule, but you may not have the chance to meet your child's age group coach if you attend a different session than specified.
TSA CHAMPIONSHIP MEET 2025
The Tarheel Swimming Association will hold the annual Championship meet on Sunday, July 20, at the Triangle Aquatic Center. Any swimmer registered on our team is eligible to swim.
There are 4 sessions for 4 different age groups. The sessions and approximate warm-up times are:
1. 8 and under session - warm-ups at 7:15 am
2. 9/10 session - warm-ups at 10:45 am
3. 11/12 session - warm-ups at 2:00 pm
4. 13 and over session - warm-ups at 5:00 pm
These times may vary a bit once all teams enter swimmers. A final timeline will be shared once the deadline to enter the meet has passed.
You may sign your swimmer up for this meet on our team website. Meet entry is open until Wednesday, July 9 at 8 am. There will be no late entries due to the very nature of this meet and the manual labor it takes to seed a meet with up to 88 teams over 1,150 swimmers.
Note: 6 and under swimmers are allowed to participate in 2 individual events plus up to 2 relays. 8 and older swimmers may compete in 3 individual events plus up to 2 relays.
Participation in the meet requires an additional fee of $15.00 per swimmer regardless of age and/or number of events. You will need to pay the meet entry fee online (go to 'Swim Swag' tab to pay) when you sign your swimmer up for this meet. Our coaching staff will not enter any swimmer who has not paid the entry fee into the meet. We will not be able to offer refunds for this meet entry fee, as once a swimmer is entered into the meet we owe the league that fee.
This meet is 100% run by volunteers. Thus, each team is required to send volunteers to assist on deck and/or for donating hospitality items. If you plan on sending a swimmer to the meet, then please plan to volunteer your time. Volunteer sign up link will be added here when we are closer to the meet date.
If you plan on sending your swimmer, a liability waiver will need to be signed. A link to the waiver will be added here when we are closer to the meet date.
If you have any questions, please reach out to Tracey Mizelle or Coach Katia. We are excited to bring a group to TSA Champs.
