Required equipment includes goggles, swim cap and team t-shirt. Team swim suit is optional.
Team swim cap & team t-shirt
A team swim cap and team t-shirt is included in your registration fee, and will be given to the swimmer before the first dual meet. Swim Caps are strongly encouraged for all swimmers, regardless of hair length, for all practices and meets. This is to protect your swimmer's hair from the chlorine and to protect the community pool from an overabundance of floating hair. Team T-shirts are worn to all dual meets and anywhere else your swimmer is willing to show off their team spirit!
It is strongly recommended that only Bella Casa Barracuda swim caps are allowed at meets. Year Round Club caps are prohibited. Silly caps are welcome.
Team Swimsuit - Flyer to purchase suit
The cost is EXTRA (not included in your registration fee). The 2025 Team Swimsuit is the "Nike Pool Lanes" in Blue/Green for girls ($56.00 at All American Swim) and the "Nike Pool Lanes Jammer or Brief" in Blue/Green for boys (Jammer $36.40 at Kiefer Aquatics.)
The Nike Pool Lanes suit is a 2 year suit, meaning that it will also be our team suit for 2026.
This suit is sold through Kiefer Aquatics located at 1231 North West Maynard Road, Cary 27513. Swimmers will be able to view, try on and/or purchase their team swimsuit in store only. Alternatively, you may purchase this suit online if you are confident on what size you need.
Team suits are not required. Your swimmer may wear a plain blue or green suit to any swim meet. Swim suits with another swim team logo is not permitted during any competitive swim meet.
We suggest you have another suit for your child to wear during practices. If your kids wear their team suit every time they come to practice it is unlikely to last the 10 week season and even less so to last two years.
Goggles
Goggles are also required equipment. The cost is EXTRA (not included in your registration fee). They can be purchased from any sport/swim retailer.
Be sure to put your child's name on all belongings, including swim caps, goggles and t-shirt. Sharpie pens are a summer league swimmer's best friend!
