The 2017 summer swim team will be capped at 186. This number reflects the maximum number of participants that can be safely managed utilizing 3 lanes during any given practice session. The Bella Casa Barracuda Swim Team Board did make a request to the Bella Casa Homeowner’s Association Transition Committee for an additional lane during swim team practices, which would have allowed for approximately 20 more swimmers for the 2017 season. The request was denied therefore officially capping the Barracudas in the 2017 season.

It should be noted that the HOA TC was extremely supportive of many other requests made by the swim team board, which will greatly improve our third season as an official TSA swim team.

In an attempt to manage summer 2017 registrations, priority will be given to any family who had a swimmer registered on either the 2015 or 2016 team via early registration. Remaining spaces unfilled by previous swimmers will be filled on a first come first served basis beginning on April 1, 2017 during the Open House registration.

We are terribly sorry for any inconvenience. If there is anyone wishing to swim as a Barracuda that is unable to make a spot on the team, we will create a waiting list at the Open House registration on April 1, 2017. As always, there will be a 2 week trial period for any registered swimmer. After the trial period is over, should any spaces become available we will contact those on the waiting list.
