For the 2017 season we have the following paid coaching positions open:

Assistant Head Coach

Responsibilities:

• Lead swim practice when Head Coach is not available and encourage kids to do their best.
• Work with Head Coach planning practices for each age group each week.
• Must be available for morning swim practices (Mon, Thurs, Fri 6-9 am)
• Assist with pre-meet activities such as lineups, heat sheets, and other meet paperwork
• Gather swimmers for each event and help Clerk of Course with getting swimmers to the blocks for swims
• Keep track of heat and lane changes with Clerk of Course for ribbon writing
• Willingness to try new ideas to help kids learn

Qualifications:

• Previous competitive swimming experience (swimming or coaching)
• General knowledge of all four competitive strokes and how to get kids to understand
• USA Swimming Coach certification desired but not required
• Lifeguarding certification desired but not required (We do pay for the cost of the class if you are not certified)
• Can-do attitude

• Assist with pre-meet activities such as lineups, heat sheets, and other meet paperwork
• Gather swimmers for each event and help Clerk of Course with getting swimmers to the blocks for swims
• Willingness to try new ideas to help kids learn

• Previous competitive swimming experience (swimming or coaching)
