Hello fellow Barracudas, 

It was great to see so many of you this past weekend.  For those of you who were not able to attend, here is a quick summary:

• Attached are our current Practice and Dual Meet schedules.  Feel free to print them out and place somewhere useful in your home.
• Volunteer requirements are such that each family needs to complete "4 points" worth.  To earn one point you must work 1 shift during a home or away meet.  There are multiple shifts during meets that either begin at 4:00pm, 5:45pm or approximately 8:00pm.  As many as three shifts are possible to be earned at one home meet if you so choose.  
• Volunteer registration will come out in two batches:  the first 3 meets will be opened up on May 25th.  The second batch or final 3 meets will open on June 8, following the June 7th Mock meet.
• The mock meet is a practice meet for swimmers and parent volunteers alike.  Families do not get "points" for volunteering at the mock meet, but it is a training opportunity for as many volunteer roles as you would like.
• Free Training provided by TSA at special clinics is provided for the following roles and is required for these two roles:  Stroke and Turn, Meet Administrator.  Starter training is provided but not required.   
• For all practices and meets, all 6 lanes of the pool will be used.  No other swimming is allowed in any area of the pool while practice and meets take place.  
• The playground is available for siblings to play while practices take place.
• You are welcome to bring your own dinner to the pool to eat with friends and neighbors during practices. 
• Please do not speak with the coaching staff while they are working with our swimmers.  You may direct any questions or concerns to our Head Coach Katia via email, or make an appointment to speak with her after or before practices.  
• Dinner during swim meets can be purchased at one of the food trucks or Pizza and small snacks will be on sale in the clubhouse.  Cash only for pizza and snacks.
• The team suit is optional and can be purchased at All American Swim located at 1231 NW Maynard Rd, Cary.

That covers what I can remember.  It is so great to have you all on the team and I look forward to a wonderful summer of fun swimming!
