Bella Casa Barracudas Swim Team Volunteer Signup is here!!!

Hello Barracuda families! It's Meet Volunteer Sign-up time and it takes a village to run these swim meets! Sign-ups will open up Tuesday, June 1 at 12:00 pm. Below are the instructions on how to sign-up for a spot. Please only sign-up for 4 spots at this time. Some positions require a bit of training at the meet and/or mandatory attendance at the pre-meet officials meeting. Please pay close attention to the arrival time required so that you are not signing up for a spot that you cannot make in time. If possible, I suggest signing up for a consistent volunteer position rather then needing to be trained for something different for each meet.

* Please do NOT signup for Stroke and Turn Judge if you have not been to training. If you are interested in attending TSA’s virtual training clinic, please reach out to me asap! There is one more training class on June 5.

* Parents with older swimmers, please try and fill the spots for the second half of the meet to allow the younger age group parents to leave with their swimmers once they have completed their events which spans the first half of the meet.

*Note, you can sign up for shifts for most of the positions. If you choose to work both shifts during a meet, then will you have fulfilled 2 of your required 4 volunteer spots. Go for it!

* In the event that you sign-up for a spot and end up unable to fulfill it, please try and switch off with someone for another meet. If you need assistance in locating someone, then I am happy to help connect you. Please remember that four volunteer spots are required to remain in good standing and received priority registration for next season.

Step 1: Log-in to the Swimtopia Website www.bcbarracudas.com

Step 2: Click on the View All on the Upcoming Events box on the right side of the page.

Step 3: Click on Job Signup next to the meet you wish to sign up for

Step 4: Click Sign-up for Jobs under the name that you wish to sign-up

Step 5: Check the box next to the assignment that you wish to fill. There is a short description there for each job. Please take note of the time required to report AND whether you are selecting first half, second half, or both. (Please ignore the event numbers as those can change).

Step 6: Save your assignments by clicking the box at the bottom of the page.
