Hi Barracudas,

    Great job last night by kids and parents!  The final score was Wood Creek 205.5 and Bella Casa 298.5. Results are already posted on the website.  The only ask from the clean up crew is to please pick up your trash before leaving the pool.  I hope everyone does a great job on their EOG/EOC today!

Next Meet

Next Tuesday night we are home again against Charleston Village.  This is our first division meet of the season.   The deadline for sign ups is once again Saturday at 5:00 pm.  We will allow swimmers to swim all 4 (3 for 6 & under) events again next week.  We will be holding another poster contest on Tuesday!

Photo Day 

Saturday we will be taking our team photo.  Please make sure to have your swimmer at the pool at 8 am with their tie-dye Barracuda shirt.  We will be taking a full team photo (like on the front page of the site) and age group photos.   After the photos we will be doing a full team relay.  Everyone will be included and everyone will swim a 25.  We will have jr coaches and coaches to help those 6 & under swimmers that cannot make a 25 yet. We will also play some games after that.  We will not be having any of the practices on Saturday, only picture, relay and games. 

Practice this week

For practice this week, tonight / tomorrow morning we will be working on breaststroke.  Thursday / Friday morning will be Butterfly.  Saturday will be picture / fun day and Monday we will work on Freestyle and Backstroke.

TSA Championships

On Saturday July 21st, the league will hold it's championship meet at the Triangle Aquatic Center, one of the best pools in the state. This meet is run more like a USA Swimming (or year around) swim meet and swimmers from all 86 teams will be competing over two days. We will only be competing on Saturday, with the 10 and under in the morning and 11 and up in the afternoon. There is an additional cost for this meet of $12, which will be collected later. The team will cover the cost of all relays in the meet. The deadline to enter the meet is July 7th and you'll need to sign the TSA waiver and give it to Coach Mark.
